The early and enabling works stage undertaken from 2018 - 2022 included three important phases of work to prepare the site for the construction of the new Hospital.
Construction of the new Griffith Base Hospital Clinical Services Building commenced in 2022, with expected completion in 2025.
A landscape design for the spacious gardens circling the Hospital, and internal courtyards, is being developed in consultation with stakeholders.
The 155 space temporary carpark opened at the front of the Hospital in July 2021. Additional new carparking will be constructed after the Clinical Services Building is completed
